If you are looking for a fully qualified, Access NI cleared tutor, look no further than Education Support Hub. Founded by myself, Daniel Guiney, in 2019, it has grown into Northern Ireland’s leading provider of online tuition for primary level children.
I’m an experienced teacher, married with two young children, and I understand both the challenges and the aspirations parents have. My lessons in English, maths, phonics, and SEAG Transfer Test preparation are tailored to build confidence, close gaps, and bring out the best in every child.

My story
I founded Education Support Hub in April 2019 with a simple mission: to unlock every child’s potential. Having taught across all primary year groups, I saw first-hand how increasing class sizes and stretched resources can make it difficult for every child to get the individual attention they need.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I moved all lessons to Zoom. What began as a necessary change soon became a strength – allowing me to work with pupils from all over Northern Ireland without the limits of distance. Parents appreciate the convenience, and children enjoy the interactive, engaging online lessons.
Since then, Education Support Hub has grown largely through recommendations from parents and glowing reviews on Facebook and Google. My work has also been recognised in local media, and I now write a weekly education column for newspapers including the Newry Democrat, Coleraine Times, Ballymoney Chronicle and Northern Constitution.
One thing I’ve noticed in recent years is that many children struggle with confidence. Before I can help them progress academically, I focus on building that confidence – because it’s the foundation of all future success.
Today, I specialise in SEAG Transfer Test preparation and provide personalised support in English and maths for P3–Year 10. Every lesson is designed to meet the child where they are and take them further than they thought possible.
